Me Cung Cave is identified the traces of pre- Halong Bay culture, from 7000 years to 10000years to present day. The most traces were found at the cave entrance Melania shells - the only living species of snails in streams.

Me Cung Cave is located at a height of 25m above Lom Bo Island, the Ti-top island about 2km southwest. Looking from distance, the cave’s door is such as a roof top deep into the island slopes.
